Small Business Training & Resources coming your way…

A smaller version of the Governor’s Marketplace – Community Editions is coming to your town. These are half-day training events with the goal of arming small businesses with resources and opportunities to win government contracts.

Nineteen communities from Brookings to Ontario will be hosting these free training events throughout 2018. In each community, a state team of trainers and key professionals comes together with local government purchasers and area lenders to enhance your government contracting knowhow.

Why should you care? The State of Oregon spends billions of dollars annually on purchasing goods and services; but some of those dollars are spent out of state. Let’s work together to keep Oregon dollars in Oregon and get you a customer with a multi-billion dollar checkbook.

Who puts these on? The Governor’s Office has partnered with the Secretary of State’s Office of Small Business AssistanceDepartment of Administrative Services, the Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity and other state, federal and local agencies and organizations to bring an incredible wealth of resources to local businesses.

Do you need to register? Registration is required, but these events are free and offer four continuing education credits for licensed construction contractors. Don’t see your community or town in the list below? Check back frequently to see if the list has been updated. Continental breakfast and lunch are included for registered attendees.
